The climate of war in northern Mozambique has already resulted in more than one million displaced people. The population tries to flee the Cabo Delgado area and seeks refuge in other Mozambican cities, such as Lichinga. This is where the Pombalense Mozvision association operates, which has just launched a campaign to help a group of 43 people displaced from Cabo Delgado, who are going through enormous difficulties.
The group consists of 43 people, 19 of whom are children.

According to the president of the association, Carla Domingues, these people will all be living in a house without any conditions. "It has walls, windows and roof. Moreover, there is nothing else," he says. They are displaced people who arrived empty-handed and have received little support from people in the neighborhood.  Mozvision's goal is to help with the purchase of food, blankets, mattresses, buckets, pots and firewood, among other things, to try to improve the living conditions of those who left everything behind. The arrival of winter, which has just begun, is yet another cause for concern and Carla Domingues assures that "they need help now". That's why Mozvision has already put forward some money to meet urgent needs.

The crowdfunding campaign aims to raise 2,000 euros by August 20  and, who wants to contribute, can access the mozvision association's facebook page where you can find more information. You can also get your donation by bank transfer. The association has organized accounting and passes receipt to individuals or companies that want to deliver their donation.
